It is based on research that indicates that students who fail or simply do not live up to expectations do so because they see no connection with what is being taught in the classroom and their "real" lives.
Practical, easy-to-implement techniques for motivating students is the foremost approach when addressing literature skills, writing modes (from argumentative, literary analysis, comparison of texts, etc.), grammar/mechanics usage, vocabulary and more.
Teachers will learn how to assess student work as they progress through the process as well as how to effectively conduct summative conferences in class.
The result will be NO PAPERS AT HOME!
